Job Summary

    The Program Manager serves as a strategic advisor to healthcare clients, partnering with executive leaders to drive workforce optimization, improve recruiting performance, and support enterprise talent strategies. This highly visible, client-facing role combines healthcare workforce consulting, analytics, project management, and operational leadership.

    The ideal candidate is equally comfortable leading executive meetings, analyzing workforce KPIs, developing strategic recommendations, and driving cross-functional initiatives. They bring expertise in healthcare staffing, RPO, MSP/VMS environments, workforce planning, and business analytics to help clients make informed talent decisions and achieve measurable outcomes.

    Job Responsibilities

    Workforce Consulting & Client Leadership

    • Serve as a trusted advisor to healthcare clients, providing workforce strategy and talent acquisition consultation.

    • Lead recurring business reviews, workforce planning sessions, and executive stakeholder meetings.

    • Facilitate discussions with client leadership to align workforce initiatives with organizational priorities.

    • Build strong relationships with executives, operational leaders, and key stakeholders across client organizations.

    Analytics & Performance Management

    • Analyze workforce and recruiting KPIs

    • Translate complex workforce data into actionable business recommendations.

    • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities that drive improved workforce outcomes.

    Program & Project Leadership

    • Lead strategic workforce initiatives from discovery through implementation and adoption.

    • Drive accountability across stakeholders to ensure successful execution and measurable results.

    • Build scalable processes, governance structures, and operating models that support program growth.

    • Manage project timelines, deliverables, risks, and communication plans.

    Executive Reporting & Communication

    • Develop and deliver executive-level presentations using PowerPoint and Excel.

    • Communicate workforce insights, program performance, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

    • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder sessions that drive alignment and decision-making.

    • Influence leaders through data-driven storytelling and consultative recommendations.

    Continuous Improvement

    • Identify opportunities to enhance recruiting operations, workforce planning, and program efficiency.

    • Lead process improvement initiatives that improve service delivery and client satisfaction.

    • Collaborate with recruiting, operations, and leadership teams to standardize best practices and optimize performance.

    Qualifications

    Education & Years of Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree plus 5-7 years of work experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 9-11 years of work experience of proven ability to analyze workforce metrics and drive business recommendations.

    • Proven experience leading large-scale, cross-organizational, sophisticated enterprise programs or projects applying internal and vendor resources

    • Strong executive presence with experience presenting to senior leaders and clients.

    • Experience leading client-facing meetings, strategic discussions, and workforce planning sessions.

    • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

    Certifications

    • Project Management Professional (PMP) (Preferred)

    Additional Experience

    • Healthcare workforce consulting experience.

    • Experience supporting large enterprise health systems or healthcare organizations.

    • Knowledge of workforce management

    Work Environment / Physical Requirements

    • Work is performed in an office/home office environment.

      Pay Rate

      $100,000 - $119,000 Salary

      Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
