General Description:
Leads the Business Process Management group for México as a pilot with the vision to take this group to service Americas in the future. Strengthens Nissan Processes and Procedures reliance and governance in accordance with business priorities while improving and optimizing business operations through a holistic systematic approach and methodology. Addresses the Compliance and Internal Control Committee recommendations, as well as Internal Audit therefore mitigating risk. Builds a BPM framework to change processes with a “design to value” approach, driving innovation and promoting automation aligned to Nissan IT strategy.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Builds Business Process Management capabilities and a robust framework in Nissan, with México as a pilot aiming at expanding this to the Americas later.
  • Focus on: Cost efficiency, Return on Investment, enhanced compliance, overall business agility and increased staff satisfaction.
  • Works closely with Business Leaders to identify priority processes to be intervened specifying clearly the desired outcomes that should reflect the several dimensions of process improvement.
  • Partners with IT to ensure alignment in terms of the process innovation pipeline with the Nissan IT Strategy and Plans.
  • Partners with Internal Audit and Compliance to identify key processes needing either remediation or significant improvement to address those as part of the Business Continuity agenda.
  • Acts as a Change Management Leader to overcome barriers for change at implementing redesigned/improved processes.
  • Develops KPI´s and metrics to assess improvement opportunities and measure later the improvement attributable to process redesign in terms of its specific outputs.
  • Looks for synergies beyond geographical boundaries and leverages Nissan Regional Business Services where appropriate.
  • Fosters automation to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  • Education/Certifications:
  • Information Technology or Industrial Engineering background.
  • Master or Specializations in Business Process Management required.
  • Lean- Six Sigma certifications (black belt) desirable.

Previous Work Experience:

  • 5-10 years of relevant Business Process Management, Process Reengineering and Continuous Improvement overall in a global company.
  • Consulting experience in a renowned firm required, modeling experience in a systemic view.
  • Relevant SAP and project management experience.
  • Automotive experience a plus.
  • Team leadership and negotiation experience/proficiency is required.
  • International experience preferred.
  • Strong ability to influence indirectly across the organization.
  • Significant business acumen to guide the team in terms of process redesign.
  • Strong analytical skills. Challenge status quo with relevant metrics.
  • Solid understanding of internal control principles and implications.
  • Disciplined/process minded. Analytical and with attention to detail. Able to measure operational improvement of redesigned processes.
  • Proactive/high energy level/Inspiring leader to enable change management. · Demonstrated experience in managing and influencing senior stakeholders in a matrixed environment. Experienced in facilitating cross-functional team discussions.
  • Established time management skills with the ability to direct multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Executive presentations are a must.
  • Ability to work, prioritize and make decisions independently in a fast-paced transformation environment.

Language:

  • Advanced English level Required, Portuguese desirable
