The Regional Director of Human Resources is responsible for developing and executing all people strategies within a region or functional business unit. People strategies to include, Talent Acquisition & Development, Succession Planning, Employee Relations, Engagement Initiatives and legal compliance. As a Human Resource Business Partner, advise and collaborate with Operations or Business Unit leaders to deliver on the strategic people needs of the business. Partner with Human Resource Accountability leaders to ensure programs and processes deliver on the strategic needs of the organization. Key Change Champion for all company wide HR initiatives. Lead and develop Human Resources teams to deliver on key HR business metrics and service levels to internal customers. Analyze people trends and recommend /implement strategies to improve or achieve business results. Participate in labor negotiations preparation and negotiations. As needed, lead M & A activities. This role is remote, but preferred the candidate sits in Georgia, Texas or North Carolina for close proximity to the region.

  • Strategic Business Partner, advisor and coach to VP’s & Directors of business units on all people strategies and issues.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources Accountability leaders to define support needed in regions regarding people strategies
  • In partnership with Business Unit leaders and HR teams, build people strategies for the region to include Talent Acquisition & Development, Succession Planning, Employee Relations and Engagement that achieve business goals.
  • Manage and develop the HR team members
  • Ensure both HR and Business Unit leaders are in compliance with labor and employment laws and aligned with our Guiding Principles
  • Identify opportunities to process improve in policies and work processes
  • Ensure consistency of HR practices across the organization
  • Ability to travel 50% of time to multiple facilities

·         3-5 years’ experience as Human Resources Director or Senior HR Manager Generalist 

·         B.S. in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent Human Resource experience.

·         Experience with Talent Acquisition & Development, Succession Planning, Employee Relations in high volume fast-paced work environment

·         Experience in developing &  managing relationships with senior level leaders and cross functional partners in the organization

·         Experience leading teams

·         Experience in building people strategic plans to meet the business goals.

·         Knowledge of Labor and Employment laws

·         Experience with pipeline development programs, hourly and salaried

·         Experience communicating at all levels in an organization hourly to C Suite

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Ability to prioritize effectively

·         Experience in managing multiple site locations across multiple states or providences

·         Experience in leading & implementing change management initiatives

 

Preferred  Education and Experience:

·         PHR, SPHR, or equivalent certification

·         Project management experience

·         Prior Labor Relations experience
