What you'll do...
Key Responsibilities:
Build and Maintain Infrastructure:
Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud/on-premises infrastructure.
Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle.
Automation and Scripting:
Write scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks (e.g., deployments, monitoring, and configuration management).
Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
CDN Management and Optimization:
Configure and manage CDNs like Akamai, Cloudflare, or AWS CloudFront to ensure low latency and high availability.
Optimize caching strategies, content routing, and edge performance for faster delivery to users.
Troubleshoot and resolve CDN-related issues, including debugging performance and connectivity challenges
Blob Storage Management:
Configure and manage blob storage solutions like Azure Blob Storage or Google Cloud Storage for application data and backups.
Optimize storage tiers and lifecycle policies for cost-effective and efficient storage management.
Implement security controls such as access policies, encryption, and IAM roles for secure storage.
NetStorage Expertise:
Configure and manage NetStorage solutions like Akamai NetStorage or equivalent for content delivery, file storage, and global distribution.
Optimize storage configurations to ensure efficient caching and seamless integration with CDNs.
Networking Fundamentals:
Configure and manage network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, SSH) to ensure secure and reliable communication.
Manage and troubleshoot DNS configurations to support application performance and domain routing.
Implement and manage SSL/TLS certificates to secure communication and meet compliance standards.
Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
Set up comprehensive monitoring solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog to ensure system reliability.
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide long-term solutions.
Collaboration:
Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to integrate new features and resolve bottlenecks.
Advocate for DevOps best practices, including continuous testing, automated deployments, and incident response.
Security and Compliance:
Understand security Vulnerabilities and address them in timely manner.
Regularly update systems and dependencies to mitigate vulnerabilities.
Performance Optimization:
Monitor and improve application and infrastructure performance.
Identify scaling opportunities and plan for future growth.
Leadership and Mentorship:
Guide junior engineers and provide technical mentorship.
Contribute to the design and evolution of system architecture.
Expertise in Jira and Atlassian Tools:
Configure and customize Jira to align with team workflows, creating tailored dashboards, boards, and reports.
Manage and integrate other Atlassian tools like Confluence, Bitbucket to enable seamless collaboration.
Train teams on best practices for using Atlassian products to improve productivity and project visibility.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Atlassian ecosystem, ensuring smooth operation
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
5+ years of experience in DevOps, software development, or system administration roles.
Proven expertise in managing CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments ( Azure, or GCP).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in programming languages like LUA, Python, Go, or Java.
Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Hands-on experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
Knowledge of databases, networking, and security best practices.
Familiarity with log management and observability tools (e.g., ELK stack, FluentD, or Splunk).
Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on system reliability.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Need to be a team player.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer, or Kubernetes Administrator.
Experience with hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud strategies.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
