Summary:
As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or software as a service applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing software releases to maintain system stability and performance. Throughout the day, the engineer collaborates with various teams to ensure that solutions are aligned with organizational goals while utilizing standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms. This position demands continuous monitoring and adjustment of applications to provide seamless user experiences and operational efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement application enhancements.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Document configuration changes and maintain detailed records of system modifications.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP HCM Payroll.
- Strong understanding of payroll processing and compliance requirements within SAP environments.
- Experience in configuring payroll modules and integrating with other human capital management components.
- Ability to utilize standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms for application customization.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to payroll processing and system performance.
- Familiarity with release management processes and ensuring system stability during updates.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP HCM Payroll.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
