Job Description

As a GTM- Global Trade Processor, you will be responsible to maintain the paperwork associated with the shipments, liaise with internal as well as external stakeholders for effective and efficient handling of the complete process.

Key Accountabilities/Essential Functions of the Job

  • Record keeping and verification of Documents for both Export and Import Shipments.
  • Tracking Inbound and Outbound Shipments.
  • Run SAP reports to identify current transaction set.
  • Coordinate with Global Trade Management team, supply chain partners and third-party transportation partners to obtain late, missing or illegible documents.
  • Populate key fields in SAP and GTMS (internal document repository and process tool).
  • Exception process: identify alternative references, review all shipments in anticipated timeframe, contact Global team, contact broker.
  • Collaborate with Global Trade Management team, supply chain partners and third-party transportation partners to obtain late, missing or illegible documents.

Additional Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform due diligence activities associated with the order:
  • Assure on-going completeness of documents required to meet record retention guidelines (Solenis internal requirements, based on Global regulatory requirements) for each order and ensure accuracy of import/export documents and charges
  • Resolve issues/problems and escalate as appropriate for immediate resolution

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics/Supply Chain

Experience

  • Three or more years’ relevant experience in Import/Export 
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • SAP knowledge
  • Good English Language skills, spoken and written
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Attention for detail, accuracy
  • Ability to handle large amounts of data, models etc.
  • Stress resistant
  • Proactive
  • Hands-on mentality

Knowledge Area

  • Global Trade Processor – Working Knowledge SAP 
  • Working knowledge of Extracting the documents from SAP, with a good understanding of key SAP transaction codes and their practical applications.

Strategic Logistic

  • Support Basic understanding of Imports and Exports shipment concepts. Process Improvement Follows standard processes and identifies basic improvement opportunities.

Knowledge Sharing & Coaching

  • Applies knowledge town tasks and seeks guidance when needed.

Skills: Behavioural & Technical 

  • Proven ability to foster effective internal and external relationships through strong influencing skills
  • Highly motivated individual contributor and collaborative team player
  • Skilled in change management with a strong desire for continuous learning and development
