Description -
This role is responsible for ensuring hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation phases of a software feature, solution, or product. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and technical expertise to navigate challenges, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive innovation. The role is responsible for defining the overall approach and architecture, driving overall quality plan and ensuring the on-time delivery and escalation, as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Leads portions of the planning and execution of multiple complex technical projects or programs in support of the continuing evolution of the organization's software products.
Develops software roadmaps based on product and technical requirements and business needs.
Partners with cross-functional software development teams to help them prioritize, plan, track and execute complex, cross organizational programs.
Performs program analysis, manages risk, identifies and influences necessary course corrections.
Continuously assesses and improves the processes that comprise the software development lifecycle.
Manages risks and resolves issues that affect release, scope, schedule, and quality of highly visible, complex programs.
Provides technical leadership and guidance to ensure that solutions meet quality and performance standards.
Communicates project status, progress, and challenges through regular reporting and presentations to leadership.
Encourages innovation within project teams and facilitate the exploration of new technologies and solutions.
Ensures that all stakeholders are aligned towards a common goal by meeting and receiving feedback on an ongoing basis.
Education & Experience Recommended
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in program/project management, scrum master, professional technology organization, or a related field.
