Role Summary
The IBS Java Developer (EMEA) is responsible for designing, enhancing, and supporting Java-based custom applications that integrate with Oracle EBS and dependent enterprise systems. The role focuses on custom development, interface defect fixes, deployment/release activities, and production support for IBS applications supporting business processes.

Key Responsibilities
Java Custom Development (IBS Applications)

Develop and enhance Java-based custom components supporting IBS applications integrated with Oracle EBS.
Deliver technical solutions aligned to requirements, including code changes, refactoring, and performance improvements (within approved change management).

Interface Support & Fixes

Troubleshoot and fix interface/integration defects between IBS applications and Oracle EBS / downstream systems (e.g., data exchange, file transfers, service endpoints). expertia.ai , linkedin.com
Perform root-cause analysis for failed integrations and implement sustainable fixes with appropriate logging and monitoring improvements.

Deployment & Release Management

Coordinate with cross-functional teams for package promotion, environment validation, and post-deployment smoke checks.

Production Support (EMEA Coverage)

Provide L2/L3 support for IBS Java applications during EMEA hours, including incident triage, defect resolution, and problem management.
Maintain operational stability: monitor integrations, resolve batch/job failures, and support service restoration within SLAs.

Documentation & Quality

Must Have (6–9 Years)

Strong hands-on Java development experience for enterprise applications (custom enhancements + support).
