Your Role

• Design and plan software by applying the principles of engineering to software development.

• Translate business requirements into digital solutions, including business analysis and application design.

• Develop future-proof, well-tested and secure applications.

• Systematically develop processes to provide specific functions.

• Is aware of the "big picture".

• Ensure up-to-date knowledge about the latest technologies and trends, bring fresh ideas to the team.

• May involve coordination on projects.

• The role requires a university education (master's degree) and 3-5 years of professional experience.

• This role covers 4 tiers.

• This job profile represents tier 3 of 4.

You have

• a university degree, preferably in computer science, natural sciences, or engineering, paired with a passion for data 3+ years of professional experience in a Data Engineering, Data Science, or Data Analyst role

• demonstrated practice in Python, SQL, Bash Scripting, and a profound understanding of version control

• strong experience in working with Microsoft Azure or AWS

• around 3 years of experience in the shaping and development of big data analytics platforms

• the ability to effectively explain the relevant concepts and technologies with a strong passion in analyzing business needs together with the various stakeholders expert

• know-how in relevant ETL (e.g. Azure Synapse) and visualization tools (e.g. Power BI)

• adept knowledge in big data technologies (e.g. Apache Spark, Databricks, Azure Functions or AWS Lambda)

• skills in infrastructure automation (e.g. Terraform) and deployment (CI/CD) are beneficial
