Job Description
Advance Auto Parts is currently looking for a High Jump Developer to join their Supply Chain Systems Development Team in Hyderabad, India. The Supply Chain Development Team is responsible for the analysis, development, testing, and supporting supply chain applications. Our supply chain operates at significant scale supporting over 4,500 inventory locations across North America and a rapidly growing eCommerce direct-to-customer delivery model. Transformation is the focus as we are consolidating systems and embracing software-as-a-service (SaaS).
As a High Jump Developer, you will:
- Independently assist in research and fact finding to develop or modify information systems
- Perform in-depth analysis and research of large systems
- Write detailed and maintainable program specifications for large programs, objects or systems to be used by others
- Facilitate technical and user walkthroughs of information systems
- Participate in on-call support rotation for moderate to critical system issues
- Interface frequently with business partners concerning their needs
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of Advance Auto Parts technologies
- Participate in all SDLC roles
- Work closely with Advance Auto Parts Architects to solution new systems and interfaces
- Utilize and enhance established design patterns in system design and development
- Create and maintain technical documentation

Required Technical and Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 6-8 years experience in application development or support of a Warehouse Management System (HighJump Software, RedPrairie, Manhattan Associates, SAP-WM, etc)
- Proficient in SQL (PL/SQL Oracle) programming
- Experience with HighJump’s WebWise Page Editor and Advantage Architect toolset
- Labeling (Bartender or Loftware)
- Reporting ( SSRS or SAP Business Objects)
- Voice (Vocolletx, TopVox, Voxware)
- Understanding of Supply Chain and Warehousing concepts
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
