Major Job Functions
Ensure warranty faults are recorded and sent to manufacturers for them to record reliability of the product
Monitor work-orders billed to warranty and ensure that claims are raised within the time limits imposed by the manufacturer
Check claims returned from CAT to ensure they match what was claimed and appeal if there is a shortfall using company guidelines
Prepare Goodwill requests using the PSCRM online system for claims where Finning are left with high net cost after settlement and for commercial issues
Provide support to the ASSC network and provide support and guidance to the operations to drive down warranty SWIP in line with company objectives

Knowledge of warranty principles
Good knowledge of systems and applications including DBSi, and Caterpillar systems including Dealer Service Network, SIS etc. desirable
Accountability
Ensure that the quality of information within the work-order and claim is correct and complete e.g. 7C’s and supplier invoices. Ensure good quality 7C’s are provided by the operations. Maintain an average WWIP of £425K over the year. Maintain a financial recovery from CAT of a minimum of 92% and measured by the CAT BIC. All claims to be processed within 25 days of last labour or 5 days of invoice if billed over 25 days. Average of 55% of invoice settled on all claims raised on CAT. Maintain a resubmission rate of below 7% (claim right first time). Process returned claims within 7 days of settlement reporting exceptions.
Education and Experience
Previous experience in a similar role within similar industry environment preferred
A technical background in the Plant or Automotive industry desirable
