Job Summary

Under direction of Director, Supply Chain Optimization, establish new programs, oversee operational functions of existing programs and develop effective on-site supervisor leadership to ensure a “best in class” supply chain program is established and meets customer ongoing objectives.

Effectively manages multiple on-site programs, ensures metrics are established and program meets operational objectives.

Job Description

  • Working collaboratively with on-site supervision and customer leadership to establish program objectives, create trackable KPI and regularly update performance of on-site supply chain program

  • Regularly review budgetary impacts of programs by monitoring expenses, identifying trends and ensuring program expenses are withing budgetary guidelines

  • Coach, provide feedback and communicate expectations to on-site leadership and team members

  • Develop and/or modify policies and training guidelines for on-site supervision team and team members

  • Ensure alignment with Client, Internal sales team, and SCO Management, on matters concerning expenses, staffing levels and service coverage and expectations

  • Maintain positive customer relationships by responding to, troubleshooting and implementing solutions to customer issues

  • Develop, modify and implement onboarding plans, policies, training programs, and general guidelines for onsite supervisors and their teams

Management responsibilities: 

  • Typically manages through multiple Managers and/or Supervisors

  • Oversee major projects/programs/outcomes

  • Budget responsibility

  • Interpret and execute policies for departments/projects; develop, recommend and implement new policies or modifications to existing policies

  • Provide general guidelines and parameters for staff functioning

  • Hiring staff, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, training and development of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Experience

  • At least 5 years of supply chain or warehouse/inventory management experience from overall planning to execution of programs

  • At least 3 years of project management and supervisory experience.

  • Understanding of Healthcare Integrated Delivery Network, or Operational / Distribution Center.

  • Ability to manage and analyze large Excel data files.

  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft PowerPoint.  

  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$100,360.00 - $150,800.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
