Ameresco is currently seeking a talented Corporate Legal Intern to support the Legal Department at our headquarters in Framingham, MA.
Responsibilities:
Assist members of the legal department drafting resolutions, certificates and other documents for review by attorneys.
Work closely with members of the legal department performing routine filings and compliance work related to permitting of projects.
Provide support maintaining and organizing corporate documents, minute books. etc.
Monitor changes to government guidelines or regulations and assist in submitting reports on pertinent changes as requested by attorneys.
Assist members of the legal department in preparation and review of securities law filings.
Perform other duties as needed to support the legal department.
Minimum Qualifications:
Enrolled in a Graduate Program in Law, Political Science, Business, or related discipline
Additional Qualifications:
Interest in renewable energy and energy efficiency, a plus.
Previous legal administrative experience or experience in an office setting, a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Willingness to take initiative, pay attention to detail and be proactive.
Excellent communications, writing and proofreading skills.
