Job Description: 

Directs a team of validation and debug engineers and technicians and manages their functions, activities, and responsibilities to ensure silicon delivers on system specifications, architecture, electrical, power, performance, and area goals. Leads the development of validation methodologies and tests, ensures execution of validation plans for silicon systems, automates software and scripts, reviews validation results, and collaborates with other engineers for design optimization, troubleshooting, and failure analysis. Applies knowledge of emulation, FPGA, and silicon tools and techniques to guide the team on more than one area of validation including functional, power and performance, debug, and/or quality and reliability and drives continuous improvement in silicon quality standards. Collaborates with design and development teams to drive execution from silicon through to mass production release, debugs and resolves engineering issues, builds understanding of future challenges, and drives technical resolutions to mitigate them. Delivers ops reviews to senior management and senior technical leads for the IP/area of ownership and builds the technical ladder for career growth. Responsible for enabling teams to execute through clear goal setting, facilitating work, maintaining accountability, applying differentiated performance management, and driving team results. Drives results by inspiring people, role modeling Intel values, developing the capabilities of others, and ensuring a productive work environment.

Qualifications:

What are the expectations for your role?
Education: Bachelor's/master's in Electrical/Computer Science engineering.

Work Experience: 5+ years of system integration and validation experience in pre/post silicon.

Technical Skills:

Extensive knowledge of hardware/software interfaces and networking protocols.

Proficiency in Linux-based development environments.

Strong programming experience in C, C++, and Python.

Expertise in networking technologies and protocols, including Ethernet, TCP/IP, RDMA, and NVMe.

Experience in planning, estimating, and developing system tests, with a focus on automation in validation environments.

Comprehensive understanding of embedded systems from a multidisciplinary and systematic perspective.
