Agropur is looking for a Transport Planner to join its team in St-Hubert.

The Transport Planner works closely with Transport Supervisors as well as all Agropur plants and warehouses and several major clients to ensure their transport needs are met.

• Salary range  003: 61 400$ to 76 800$ (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position.)

What’s involved in this role:

More specifically, the responsibilities of the Transport Planner are:

• With the help of OTM and existing systems, plans daily transport schedules and ensures appointments are made with clients in a just-in-time environment;

• Ensures all manual movements are uploaded into the OTM system and that it is always up to date on a daily basis;

• Rigorously tracks all movements to confirm them and informs transport supervisors and internal and external clients of any issues;

• Ensures delivery proofs are provided when requested;

• Supports the process of transport deductions and penalties as well as carrier claims;

• Generates and disseminates Transport KPIs at the requested frequency;

• Participates in maintaining food quality, sanitation, and safety requirements;

• Participates in compliance with health and safety rules as well as applicable transport regulations and standards.

What you need to join our team

• College diploma, preferably in operations management or logistics;

• 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role;

• Proficiency in the Office suite;

• Knowledge of SAP TM or Oracle (an asset);

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English (English required to work with colleagues from other Canadian provinces).
