The position of Field Support Specialist is within our IDDM-Japan located at Japan.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

This role is responsible for delivering high-quality field support for diagnostic equipment, ensuring stable operation, improving customer satisfaction, and building long-term customer relationships.

In addition to executing core field activities independently, this role is expected to proactively identify customer needs and contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Field Support & Technical Execution / フィールドサポートおよび技術対応

• Provide installation, training, and operational support / 機器の設置・トレーニング・操作支援
• Ensure accuracy, safety, and stable performance of products / 精度・安全性・安定稼働の確保
• Perform upgrades and troubleshooting / アップグレード・トラブル対応

Customer Support & Engagement / 顧客対応および関係構築

• Support product demonstrations and safe use / デモおよび適正・安全使用の支援
• Explain product features and scientific background clearly / 製品特性・基礎学術の説明
• Build trust and understand needs to provide solutions / 信頼関係構築とニーズに基づく提案
• Conduct site presentations and improve satisfaction / 院内説明会の実施・満足度向上

Complaint Handling & Continuous Improvement / 問題対応および継続的改善

• Handle complaints per regulations and procedures / 規制・社内手順に基づく苦情対応
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate as needed / トラブル対応およびエスカレーション

Collaboration & Information Sharing / 社内連携および情報共有

• Share customer insights and opportunities / 顧客情報・機会の共有
• Monitor market trends such as competitors information / 競合他社情報など、市場動向の把握
• Support business growth by generating leads & keeping customer retentions / リード創出による事業成長支援

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent / 大卒・高専・大学院卒相当
• Valid driver’s license / 普通自動車運転免許

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in diagnostic or medical device industry / 検査機器・医療機器業界経験
• Service engineer experience / サービスエンジニア経験
• Basic life science knowledge / 基礎的なライフサイエンス知識
• PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) / PCスキル (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Build good communication with customers with fundamental product and technical knowledge / 技術的なサポートを通じて顧客との良好なコミュニケーションを構築できる
