What you will do:

Responsible for the maintenance and servicing of components of the Building Operational Technology (OT) systems to the highest standards of quality. Provides repairs, adjustments and modifications to components of the OT systems at customer facilities. Properly completes required project and service documentation. The successful candidate is an

experienced technician with attention to detail and possesses excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

· Diagnoses and repairs electronic control systems; has and develops knowledge of a variety of electronic or digital controls systems and ability to write and test modifications in automation software languages.

· Communicates with customers upon arrival and before leaving the work site. When performing remote work, communicates with clients during work hours. Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction. Keeps customers informed on outstanding issues and recommends system enhancements, upgrades, and/or repairs.

· Analyses OT systems at customer sites and creates maintenance and contingency plans to maintain functionality in case of failure or modifications

· Adheres to all Johnson Controls and customer safety standards.

· Compiles job documentation, such as certificates of completion, customer training forms, training certificates, and punch lists.

· Conducts extensive self-study (reading, research, and practice) to improve and maintain technical proficiency in JCI’s product lines. Completes certifications as required by the company.

· Provides support to the Integrated Operations Centre Support team and to other JCI-operated facilities to reduce operational risk.

· Provides after-hours remote site support and emergency response on a rotating basis with other specialists.

· Assists the site staff with validating that repair and maintenance carried out on the systems meet organizational standards. The specialist assists with re-commissioning and functionality testing after repair work is completed.

Required:

· 3 years of experience in maintenance or installation of Operational Technology (OT) systems, building automation, Instrumentation, process controls or related fields.

· Hands-on experience troubleshooting equipment controls.

· English: Fluent (spoken and written), especially for technical documentation and customer communication.

· General understanding of networking concepts and ability to collaborate with IT professionals.

· Ability to work independently and in a team.

· Excellent customer communication and troubleshooting abilities.

· Strong documentation and organizational skills.

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: 32.21$ - 44.23$ (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
