An exciting opportunity has arisen within our WR operations Asset health team for a Maintenance Support Engineer working across multiple operational areas in the Norfolk and Lincolnshire regions. 
 

Reporting to the Root Cause Analysis Manager the Maintenance Support Engineer will be part of a dedicated team investigating asset failures to prevent reoccurrence and extend asset life; you will use your process and engineering knowledge to identify, promote and deliver solutions.  You will support Operational teams to deliver best practice techniques to Maintenance and treatment technicians. 

 

This role will provide technical assistance to Operational Managers, supporting Environmental Protection Plan meetings and the completion of agreed actions in a timely manner. You will also be required to liaise with key stakeholders to ensure capital expenditure is effectively delivered in a timely manner. 

 

 

What does it take to be a Maintenance Support Engineer? 

 

  • You will have suitable technical qualifications in a relevant maintenance discipline coupled with practical experience of fault finding and improvement of mechanical and electrical assets. 

  • Excellent communication skills to build excellent customer relationships  

  • A good understanding and knowledge of Health & Safety 

  • Drive and motivation to strive for excellence  

  • The ability to prioritise a varied workload and demonstrate good time management to comply with tight deadlines 

  • SAP, Excel, and Iris knowledge would be a strong advantage
