As our Internal Controls Lead, you will report directly to our Site Director and will support the Gödöllő site with the following:

Helping in managing the process of contracts and other legal documents (PoAs, corporate docs, etc.)

  • acting as a point of contact and managing the communication between business owners, Procurement, Legal & Compliance colleagues and external legal counsel (CMS), ensuring the smooth understanding between the communicating parties with special focus on the Hungarian legal framework (asking the right questions, “translating” responses),
  • helping in reviewing documents before signature to flag if something is missing/problematic, if further communication, review or approval is needed

Compliance and Privacy

  • managing the completion of yearly management monitoring exercise,
  • acting as a point of contact between local and Compliance & Privacy colleagues, ensuring involvement of the latter if needed,
  • helping and facilitating the understanding of ABAC, COI, Privacy and other policies, responding to simple questions, building culture and communication, other champion’s tasks,
  • helping in identifying if an issue is related to compliance or privacy, or has legal aspects,

Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM)

  • providing support for colleagues in the contracting part of TPRM,
  • helping the understanding of the requirements of relevant policies, helping in ensuring that necessary checklists are fulfilled,
  • facilitating the communication between local and TPRM/Legal/Compliance colleagues regarding the TPRM Annex in question,
  • helping the negotiations between suppliers and local colleagues, ensuring that comments, requests and questions are channeled between SMEs and local colleagues,

External comms from the Hungarian market, supporting the Site Director as Country Head

  • acting as a point of contact internally for queries and letters coming from local market (Hungary) sent specifically to Gödöllő site, from hospitals, patients, external parties etc., forwarding to Partnership Market colleagues, liaising with local external counsel and Legal & other functions, if necessary,
  • helping the evaluation of the queries and in the understanding of local legal framework, administration of receiving queries and sending responses.

Risk management

Basic Qualifications & Skills:

  • Legal Degree is highly preferred
  • Professional knowledge on Hungarian and EU legislation on data privacy, compliance and standards
  • Fluency in both Hungarian and English languages
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical trade, being familiar with regulations
