What you’ll do

In this role, you’ll partner with leaders and employees to deliver practical, high‑quality HR support across multiple sites. You’ll balance daily HR activities—coaching leaders, managing employee relations, supporting onboarding/offboarding, and guiding wellness, safety, and performance—with initiatives that strengthen processes, culture, and employee experience.
You will also lead and support North America HR projects, including process improvements, digital HR enhancements, policy harmonization, and capability‑building programs. This includes contributing to talent and performance initiatives, D&I and engagement activities, developing change management plans, and supporting L&D activities across the region, including quarterly global L&D meetings.

Who we’re looking for

You’re a trusted HR partner who thrives in environments where you can own your work, solve problems, and support people through change. Your strong communication, coaching, and relationship‑building skills help leaders navigate complex people topics with confidence. You bring business acumen, sound decision‑making, and the ability to interpret HR and business data to guide recommendations. You excel at working independently while collaborating across HR teams, ensuring both local and regional HR objectives are achieved.

You’ll also need

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, including HRBP or HR Generalist responsibilities (multi‑site or manufacturing is an asset)
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (equivalent experience considered)
  • CHRP/CHRL designation or actively pursuing
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian employment legislation (Ontario ESA, Canada Labour Code, Human Rights, Common Law)
  • Experience leading/supporting HR projects or change initiatives
  • Strong communication, coaching, influencing, and relationship‑building skills
  • Analytical capability with experience using HR and business data for decision‑making
  • Comfort with AI/digital tools (Copilot, MS Forms, Power BI, e‑learning, video tools)
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems; Workday experience is an asset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with independence, sound judgment, and strong organization skills
