JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Conduct comprehensive organizational studies and evaluations to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations in the United States and Canada. Design and implement systems and procedures that align with our global corporate objectives, supporting initiatives that optimize our portfolio. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute strategic plans, leveraging insights from customer preferences and market trends to guide decision-making. Perform strategic account analysis to ensure compliance with technical standards, utilizing tools such as LAMP, PIM, Cockpit, and Stakeholder Mapping. Compile reports on performance metrics, project statuses, and forecasts, facilitating planning meetings to review project progress and challenges. Act as the voice of the customer, provide feedback to global initiatives and product teams, and optimize resource allocation to support technical strategies. Drive customer loyalty and satisfaction by delivering exceptional technical support. Design and implement systems and procedures to streamline operations, improve workflow, and support management in achieving strategic goals. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including R&D teams, enhance collaboration and drive customer satisfaction. Manage revenue and cost analysis for projects, ensuring alignment with budgets and financial objectives. Provide program analysis and act as a management consultant to improve operational efficiency and support strategic initiatives. Exercise broad discretion over the operations under their control, leveraging best practices to drive continuous improvement and achieve ambitious growth targets. Perform other duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Finance, or a related field required.

  • 3 years of experience in job offered or related occupations required.

  • Also required is: 3 years of experience: in strategic sales at the C-Suite level; providing C-Suite level consultation and analysis, and managing sales teams; in research and data management to identify business development opportunities to ensure market growth; performing research and developing executive-level sales strategies for the USA, Canada and LATAM territories; performing analysis of scientific research to determine trends and provide solutions as needed to clients and partners; partnering with academic and governmental institutions to provide technological guidance and influence; and working with international partners on various projects and proposals.

  • Employee reports to Elsevier, Inc. office in New York, NY but may telecommute from any location within the U.S.

  • Experience can be concurrent.

 

SALARY RANGE:

  • $132,858.63 to $144,200.00/year + standard company benefits

Primary Location Base Pay Range: New York, NY $53,400 - $89,300.
