NPI Product Engineer

Description -

We are seeking an NPI Product Engineer to lead the transition of products from development to production in a dynamic and innovative environment. The role involves close collaboration with R&D, production, and supply chain teams to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality production processes. Knowledge of CAD systems (CREO) and WINDCHILL is an advantage.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the transition of products from the development phase to mass production.
  • Analyze and optimize designs for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA).
  • Collaborate with R&D and production teams to identify and resolve technical challenges.
  • Create and update technical documentation and production guidelines.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure smooth integration of components and processes.
  • Lead engineering change processes to improve product performance and reduce costs.
  • Support the implementation of production testing and quality control processes.
     

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering – mandatory.
  • 3+ years of experience in a development-to-production transition role or similar.
  • Experience in design and manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with CAD systems (CREO) – advantage.
  • Knowledge of WINDCHILL PLM system – advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Technical English – high level.
     

Additional Advantages:

  • Experience in lean manufacturing principles.
  • Background in industrial or mechanical systems.
