Position Overview: Will serve as a crucial bridge between the Japan team (Panasonic Connect) and the U.S. (Blue Yonder) development division. This role involves aligning project requirements, managing project progress, and leading development milestones for the Cognitive Integration Generator (CIG) project. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, expertise in the Scrum framework, and a collaborative approach to project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaison and Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between the Japan team (Panasonic Connect) and the U.S. (Blue Yonder) development division to ensure alignment on project requirements and manage overall project progress.
  • Project Planning and Management: Plan and manage development milestones for the Cognitive Integration Generator (CIG) project, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
  • Design Definition: Define design principles for key CIG functionalities, including Data Mapping Automation and Entity Integration.
  • Sprint Operations: Lead sprint operations under the Scrum framework with development teams in Japan and India, including end-to-end test planning and reviewing the quality of automation scripts.
  • GUI Collaboration: Collaborate with the GUI development team (React-based) to design and implement user experience improvements for upcoming feature enhancements.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate with Panasonic Connect members and other project teams to optimize project scope, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources effectively.

 

Technical Environment:

  • Proficiency in Scrum and Agile methodologies
  • Experience with end-to-end testing and automation scripting
  • Familiarity with front-end development frameworks like React
  • Knowledge of data mapping and entity integration principles

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.  Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.  Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.  In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
