As a Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining identity and access management solutions within our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, assess security risks, and develop robust IAM strategies to protect sensitive data and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires a combination of technical expertise in IAM technologies, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. You will work as an Individual Contributor and will be directly reporting to the IAM Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement IAM solutions based on business requirements, industry best practices, and security standards.

  • Collaborate with business units to understand their IAM needs and translate them into technical requirements.

  • Configure and integrate IAM solutions (iDP and IGA)  with existing systems, applications, and directories to enable seamless user authentication and authorization.

  • Remediate risks and vulnerabilities identified by internal team, clients or vendors.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve IAM-related issues and incidents.

  • Stay current with emerging IAM trends, technologies, and threats to continuously improve the organization's security posture.

  • Work closely with compliance and IT teams to ensure IAM solutions meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.

  • Collaborate with other IT teams on projects and initiatives that involve IAM components, such as cloud migration, digital transformation, and enterprise software deployments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT Security, Computer Science, or equivalent 5 years proven experience in Identity and Access Management software/solutions in a large enterprise environment.

  • In-depth knowledge of IAM concepts, principles, and technologies, including but not limited to:

    • Identity lifecycle management

    • IDP

    • IGA

    • Single sign-on (SSO)

    • Multi-factor authentication (MFA)

    • Role-based access control (RBAC)

    • Privileged access management (PAM)

  • Hands-on experience with IAM solutions such as Okta, Azure Active Directory, Ping Identity, or similar platforms.

  • Strong understanding of network security, encryption techniques, and authentication protocols (e.g., LDAP, SAML, OAuth).

  • Proficiency with various operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and macOS.

  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.

  • Experience with server hardware and software, including virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

  • Basic knowledge of database systems and their administration (e.g., SQL, MySQL, Oracle).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems to identify security risks and design effective solutions.

  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell) for automation and customization of IAM processes.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT Security, Computer Science, or equivalent

Work Location / Work Schedule / Travel: 

  • 24/7 coverage | Monday to Friday | Work schedule is flexible but mostly dayshift. Shifting may occur if needed.
