About the Role

As a Senior Data Discovery and Enrichment Expert, you will use your cheminformatics and coding skills to evaluate and enhance the quality of large chemistry datasets. You will build automated processes to monitor content quality and collaborate with Data Science and Technology partners to drive improvements. Your work will directly strengthen the value and usability of our data.

Responsibilities:

  • Analysing large chemistry datasets to identify quality issues and opportunities to improve data extraction, enrichment, and structure.

  • Developing automated workflows and tests to monitor and validate the accuracy of chemistry‑related content.

  • Collaborating with Data Science, Product, and Technology partners to enhance data quality and enrichment processes.

  • Applying coding and data analysis skills to design scalable solutions that improve reliability and consistency of scientific data.

Requirements:

  • Master's / PhD or equivalent degree in Bioinformatics, Cheminformatics, Computational Biology /Chemistry or allied fields

  • Experience working with large‑scale chemistry datasets.

  • Good understanding of testing methodologies to ensure data quality and integrity

  • Experience applying cheminformatics methods to evaluate and improve data quality.

  • Understanding of major life science or chemistry information databases.

  • Ability to build automated workflows to monitor and validate content quality (e.g. Python, Knime or similar)

  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with scientific and technical partners.
