What You’ll Do on a Typical Day :

• Assisting with the monthly and quarterly treasury accounting process and business partnering with the treasury team based in the United Kingdom (UK) to ensure that the accounting is being performed timely and correctly.

• Assist with the month-end close and related activities involving daily and post-close review of the treasury balances, accounting for intercompany funding and settlements, and processing necessary accounting journal entries.

• Assist with the calculations of leverage ratios and monitoring of other debt covenant requirements, related to the company’s external borrowings, to be performed on a quarterly basis.

• Assist with the monthly/quarterly transfer pricing (TP) calculations and processing necessary accounting journal entries.

• Ensuring the correctness and completeness of data used for TP calculations and working with the tax team in the UK to ensure calculations are in line with the TP policy.

• Assist with other ad-hoc tax and treasury accounting and reporting items.

• Assisting in monthly/quarterly analysis of foreign exchange gain (loss) in the financial statements including documentation various factors causing the movements.

• Assist with other corporate accounting and reporting items as needed for month-end / year-end close.

• Review and/or prepare of balance sheet account reconciliations.

• Assist in the preparation of standard monthly reports including analysis of various balance sheet components and cash flows.

• Provide support to business and finance teams on accounting matters.

• Observe financial governance practices across the functions performed and ensure compliance with SOX policies.

• Build relationships with other cross functional areas (e.g. shared services/ Finance/ Tax/ Legal/ Treasury) across various regions.

What We’re Looking For :

• CA/ACCA with Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience or an experienced accountant with 5+ years accounting exp.

• Candidates with prior experience in a Big MNC firm will be given a preference.

• Knowledge of Oracle and NetSuite will be an added advantage.

• Technical Skills – Familiarity with IFRS and US GAAP will be advantageous, but not required. Adequate tax and debt/treasury training and familiarization with processes will be provided.
