The Cybersecurity & Governance Sr. analyst is responsible for reviewing & managing security and compliance measures to protect our organizations information systems and data from cyber threats. This role involves assessing risks, creating security measures to mitigate the risks and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Job Requirements:

  • Perform security assessments and reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of security controls, provide recommendations for improving security posture and practices.
  • Collaborate with IT and other business units to integrate security into business process and systems
  • Prepare reports on security metrics for management review, highlight the areas of concerns and recommendations
  • Provide cybersecurity best practices and promote the culture of security awareness
  • Stay up to date on cybersecurity trends, threats and technologies

Qualifications :

  • 5-7 years of experience in information security, governance and risk management
  • Very good knowledge of security & compliance frameworks like NIST and ISO 27001
  • Solid understanding of information security policies and procedures
  • Proficient in security technologies and knowledge of network and application security principles
  • Proven ability to work in emergencies, with the flexibility to handle multiple high priority situations simultaneously
  • Experience with database development & maintenance (MS Access)
  • Experience with Big data & analysis (Hadoop, Tableau)
  • Excellent time management, reporting, and communication skills
  • Certification in any security area is preferred
