What you will be doing...
We are looking for a creative Workflow Automation Analyst to join our Global Network Management team. Unlike traditional "from-scratch" developers, this role focuses on Rapid Solution Delivery. You will leverage existing enterprise tools—specifically the Google Workspace suite, Slack, and internal low-code platforms—to build agile solutions that solve immediate business friction. You will be the "First Responder" for automation, turning manual spreadsheet tasks and fragmented communications into streamlined, automated workflows.
Low-Code Solutioning: Build and maintain productivity tools using Google Apps Script, AppSheet, and Slack Workflow Builder to automate recurring team tasks.
SaaS Integration: Connect disparate "directional" tools via webhooks or pre-built connectors (e.g., Zapier, Workato, or n8n) to ensure data flows seamlessly between communication channels and tracking logs.
Dashboard & Reporting: Create automated, real-time dashboards in Google Sheets or Looker Studio that aggregate status updates from various network systems for leadership visibility.
Process Translation: Act as a liaison between frontline technicians and the Band 7 development team; prototype "Quick-Win" solutions that can later be scaled into full-stack applications.
User Training & Adoption: Create simple documentation and "How-To" guides for the tools you build to ensure high team adoption and minimal downtime.
What we are looking for...
You will need to have:
Bachelor's degree or one or more years of work experience.
Ecosystem Mastery: Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets formulas, AppSheet, and basic Google Apps Script) and Slack (Workflows, Bolt, and App configuration).
Technical Familiarity: Comfortable working with JSON, REST API structures, and basic SQL queries to pull data from existing databases.
Network Operations: Strong understanding of Layer 2/3 circuit provisioning (E-Line, GPON, Private IP).
Platform Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Canvas, BGW, and KIRKE.
Applied Scripting: Ability to run, troubleshoot, and provide feedback on automation scripts.
Ability to work a schedule that includes overlap with US day shift for weekly staff meetings and global coordination.
Even better if you know one or more of the following:
Network Provisioning and VZ specific systems including -
NAR, Canvas, NTLS, ACTP
WFM, WFA, TIRKS, vRepair
TCOMS, BGW, Maintenance Tracker
F&E, Order Manager, BGW, eASR, TCOMS
SNM, IPNMP, BBDB
If Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification listed above.
