The Second Line of Defense Testing Team is recruiting for a Manager who is analytical, organized, and efficient with a background in audit or compliance. The candidate should also be a self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and make well thought out decisions.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Plan compliance testing reviews including AML/ATF, FATCA/CRS, Privacy, Complaints Handling, Unclaimed Property, etc., using a risk-based approach

  • Analyze and test the completeness and effectiveness of business key controls to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and applicable regulatory requirements

  • Incorporate data analytics in select testing performed

  • Set up control testing engagement and document design and operating effectiveness of key controls in Archer

  • Communicate weaknesses in key controls to Management and make value-added recommendations for improvement in order to accurately mitigate compliance risks

  • Document results of testing in a clear and concise report, using effective business writing skills, that details the scope of testing, work performed, results of testing, issues noted, recommendations and action plans

  • Enter issues and corrective action plans in Archer

  • Ensure accurate follow up of the implementation of corrective action plans by the planned target date

  • Supervise Anti-Money Laundering QA testing for Canadian Market and Global Functions performed by the Integrated Compliance Services team in Manila

  • Collaborate with Audit Services, Risk, and other Canadian Market BU Compliance teams

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree in Commerce or Administration

  • Professional designation in accounting, preferable

  • 5 years of proven track record in internal/external audit/compliance

  • Bilingualism an asset, French and English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CAMS designation is an asset

Salary range is expected to be between

$81,450.00 CAD - $146,610.00 CAD
