This position will be responsible for working with a large volume of transactions with high importance in the General Ledger. Daily communication with engineers/requesters and other Nissan North American employees to retrieve and approve required information.
Generate multiple reports, performing analysis and reconciliation for assets awaiting capitalization (CIP).
Continuously review invoices received for each assigned project to determine exactly what it was purchased, the quantity, the value and whether it is considered capitalizable or an expenditure. The objective is to transfer the CIP amount to new assets created within the system with their respective useful life, cost center, asset class, location and net book value.
Key Responsibilities
Daily reconciliation between the asset balance transaction where the CIP is displayed and Cji3 where the purchase orders are received.
Identify any missing invoices that are available for analysis and capitalization.
Contact engineers/requesters for details on assets.
Determine cost center and asset class.
Fill out the templates based on the information gathered and upload them into SAP.
Maintain accurate accounts through journal entries based on depreciation.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in economics, administrative, accounting or related.
Experience: Experience using SAP or another ERP general ledger system.
Excel skills in managing voluminous data.
Ability to comprehend accounting software systems.
Language: Advanced English 80% or greater. Direct contact with USA
Computer skills:
