JOB DESCRIPTION:

Coordinate ANI S&OP Process / Demand Review

  •  Prepare S&OP / Demand Review agenda, package and minutes
  •  Consolidate Affiliate Demand Statements.
  •  Highlight and investigate exceptions (abnormal demand, supply issues, etc.).
  •  Provide in-market/to-market, inventory analysis.
    •  Prepare and communicate timely Affiliate Demand Report  to Area
  •  Facilitate gap analysis of S&OP process versus financial commitments.

Manage the publication and ensure integrity of data in all related systems (JDA, Cognos, SAP APO and local S&OP / Finance models).

Track assigned KPIs by Area or Corporate; provide analysis and   recommendations to Management in order to improve affiliate performance.

Take an active role in the planning processes related to ADS.

Lead or participate Margin & Profitability projects related to Demand.

Coordinate and consolidate Demand forecast with major customers / distributors .

Lead policy and procedure elaboration regarding S&OP, Demand Management and Business Excellence.

New Product Introduction

  • Coordinate with Marketing on the New Product Introduction (NPI) process.

  • Communicate the status of projects via S&OP.

Lead the process to identify and monitor KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and recommending improvement actions.  Monitor resource utilization and manage resource allocation, including identifying changes to long term resource needs and implementing necessary actions.

Business Excellence

• Promote and drive continuous improvement processes within the organization

• Develop innovative solutions to work with one set of numbers

Manage the gross to net spending and forecasting ASP for ANI Malaysia.

Set and Coordinate reconciliation meetings with the Marketing, FP&A and Logistics areas. With Marketing (participants include product managers, sales managers and demand manager) to review current forecast, in-market sales, market intelligence and adjust the forecast according to that input. With FP&A to review the Business Projection vs. the Adjusted Forecast.

Participate in the Plan and Update preparation to be presented to the Area/Division

Responsible for calculation and management of DOH at Abbott and in the market (Tier 1 and Tier 2). Making sure that the overall channel DOH was in line with Plan/LBE and highlight to management for decisions if any risks arising.

Make visits to key customers to better understand the DOH and verify the demand/sales trend of sales and marketing

Develop, build and maintain relationships with internal business stakeholders and external clients as necessary

Act on Special Projects as designated by Finance Director or General Manager

EDUCATION:

  • Business, Economics, Finance or Engineering tertiary/degree qualification

EXPERIENCES:

  • Minimum 3 years in Demand Planning and Management role with demonstrated success.
  • Multi-national FMCG company exposure is preferred.

SKILLS:

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong team player
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft application e.g. excel, power point and word
