The Progressive Coronary Care Unit (PK2) at Fairview Hospital is a 36-bed telemetry unit focused on providing excellent, high-quality care for our cardiac population. Located on the second floor of the Parkview Building, the Progressive Coronary Care Unit provides many opportunities for nurses who are committed to providing patient-centered care.
As a Patient Care Nurse Assistant, you will assist and provide direct patient care while under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. A PCNA in this role is familiar with reporting and watching a patient's health condition while organizing and aiding with housekeeping in patient rooms. Work alongside our nurses and physicians who are eager to teach and welcome new people to the team.
Your primary duties will include but are not limited to:
• Collecting vital signs/changing wound dressings.
• Reporting abnormal findings.
• Helping patients with personal care.
