The Opportunity

IoT Infrastructure Software is looking for a data Analyst for our Infrastructure Software team.  In this role, you will analyze and interpret complex data sets to provide insights to engineering teams. The ideal candidate must have at least some years of experience in data analysis and be able to work independently and collaboratively.

The Silicon Labs Internet of Things (IoT) Infrastructure Software team is an elite group of software engineers focused on developing internal tools and frameworks. Our team has a deep understanding of all aspects of semiconductor software development, including embedded, object-oriented applications, database, and web analytics. What you will do

Work closely with engineering teams to understand data requirements and provide data-driven insights to support intelligent decision-making processes. Analyze large and complex datasets using statistical and data visualization tools to identify trends, patterns and correlation. Develop and maintain data dashboards, reports, and visualization to effectively communicate data insights and analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for data-driven process improvements and develop solutions to enhance data quality and accuracy. Perform ad-hoc analysis to support business needs and research inquiries. Partner with DataOps team to define database schema relevant to building reports and dashboards.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics or Mathematics or related field. Minimum __ years experience in data analysis. Technical proficiency in SQL, Python and/or R. Hands on experience building reports and dashboards with tools such as Power BI and Superset. Strong knowledge of how relational databases work and various schema types - normalized, STAR, Snowflake. Experience writing queries for MSSQL server, Postgres, Redshift and AWS Athena or Trino. Exposure to analysis using machine learning related projects is a plus. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Qualifications Considered a Plus

  • Understanding of automated test environments for hardware validation or software QA
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools for CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code
