The Principal FX Solution Sales for EMEA, oversees all aspects of Kyriba’s FX solutions business for EMEA including driving sales, minimizing churn, and creating demand for Kyriba’s end to end FX Risk solutions including pre-trade and post trade functionality. This role oversees the EMEA FX Overlay Sales Support function working directly with Kyriba’s global sales/account management teams, partners, and professional services by providing subject matter expertise to prospective and existing clients. In addition, this role will also work cross-functionally with regional marketing, product, and sales/partner enablement teams to drive regional demand generation and the dissemination of thought leadership and best practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales & Account Management: Assist European Sales & Account Management teams by providing access to subject matter expertise and pre-sales consulting to differentiate of Kyriba’s FX offerings and maximize ARR attainment
European Marketing and Demand Generation: Provide thought leadership, subject matter expertise and timely development of marketing content to support webinars, white papers, business development campaigns, LinkedIn postings, blogs and other marketing resources to drive awareness and demand for Kyriba’s end to end FX Risk Management Solutions. Engage with local marketing resources to ensure FX topics and the Kyriba solutions are well represented in webinars, conferences and on-going marketing outreach.
European Sales Team and Partner Enablement: Provide subject matter expertise and hands-on training support to the Kyriba Academy, Sales Enablement and Partner Enablement teams to increase channel capacity to sell, implement and support Kyriba FX solutions
Cross-Pillar Sales and Marketing Support: Work cross functionally with other Product Pillar teams such as Payments and Bank Connectivity, Working Capital, and Core Treasury to develop compelling differentiation and sales playbooks to support complex strategic sales opportunities.
Value Engineering: Provide continuous subject matter expertise and technical support in partnership the European Value Engineering team and sales teams to ensure FX Risk Solution Sales are supported with best-in-class Points of View, Process Maturity Assessments, Threat Matrix’s, Business Cases.
Competitive Analysis: Responsible for staying current on competitive analyses and understanding differentiators between the company and its competitors
Product Management Support: Responsible for providing feedback from the market to Product Management and Development regarding products including coordinating gaps between product functionality and market/customer demands
Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in treasury risk management and FX advisory/consulting and knowledge of treasury FX risk technology.
Strong understanding on Foreign Exchange risk management strategies employed by corporations
Experience with supporting Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and Transactional hedging programs
Deep financial and economic understanding of derivative instruments, and valuation treatments
Experience with accounting standards inclusive of Hedge Accounting treatment managed by corporations
Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports.
5 to 10 years relevant experience in treasury, cash management or corporate finance, or in a technology role related to these practices
A Bachelors’ of Science in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is strongly preferred
Able to communicate technical and business information to widely varied audiences
Excellent interpersonal relationship building skills
Ability to understand business processes and business problems
Ability to understand financial data relationships and how that data can be used to solve business problems
Ability to multi-task and be able to represent multiple subjects and products
Ability to understand and capture business and technical requirements related to Treasury services
Ability to develop a broad awareness of the client's financial technical architecture and emerging technologies with enough knowledge to determine what is and is not possible.
