Summary: We are seeking a skilled Python + AWS Developer to join our cloud optimization team. Responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software applications using Python with primary focus on building and deploying scalable and reliable solutions on the AWS platform. Proficiency in cloud is crucial for designing, implementing, and optimizing data workflows. Knowledge of SQL and an understanding of FinOps principles are desirable. Key Responsibilities: Contribute to technical design, addressing scalability challenges, improving stability, tackling technical debt, and enhancing the overall platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and translate business requirements into effective data engineering solutions. Develop and deploy Python-based applications on the AWS Platform. Write well designed reusable code using Python and AWS. Design, develop, test, and deploy Python-based data engineering applications. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and provide constructive feedback. Implement scalable and cost-effective data processing workflows using AWS services such as Lambda, S3, Glue, and others. Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and efficiency in the AWS environment. Ensure code quality through robust testing, code reviews, and continuous integration. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data pipelines, ensuring smooth and reliable operation. Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies, particularly within the AWS data and analytics ecosystem. Contribute to database design and optimization tasks using SQL. Support the development and enhancement of FinOps practices within the organization. Professional & Technical Skills: - Degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. More than 3 years of professional experience in Python programming language and its libraries. (for integrating multiple providers, pandas etc.) Strong knowledge of developing in AWS cloud using lambda, AWS batch, etc. Familiarity with AWS SDKs and APIs for data services. Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration services. Experience in SQL/data warehousing tools/framework and database design principles. Proven ability to optimize data pipelines for cloud environments. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience with tools like Jenkins, code pipeline etc. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Knowledge of software development best practices and design patterns Additional Information: - Knowledge of FinOps principles and practices. Experience with data warehousing solutions in AWS (e.g., Redshift). Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). AWS certification(s) would be a plus.
