Get to know the business

The Marketing Campaign Governance & Project Delivery Lead will be responsible for developing and maintaining the marketing campaign governance efforts with goal of establishing marketing’s impact on sales for the Corebridge Financial Digital Marketing team across multiple digital channels including but not limited to paid search, social, web, email, and sales data. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for campaign governance, project management, and driving operational excellence. This role requires strong campaign governance expertise, exceptional project management capabilities, and analytical skills. The candidate must also be creative, adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously, and possess excellent communication skills.

The successful candidate will have a clear vision for formulating, executing, and continuously improving marketing & sales campaign governance processes while project-managing digital marketing initiatives. They must also understand how marketing campaign governance impacts analytics and reporting outcomes. This position will collaborate with internal marketing teams, social and web teams, and external agencies, emphasizing cross-functional teamwork and communication.

Specific Responsibilities

Campaign governance

  • Platform Administration: Administer and maintain the Claravine marketing campaign governance and metadata platform, ensuring optimal configuration, accuracy, functionality, and performance.
  • Standardization and Processes: Develop and implement standards, workflows, and templates to streamline marketing campaign governance processes.
  • Data Taxonomy and Compliance: Collaborate with marketing, IT, and business intelligence teams to ensure consistent marketing campaign data taxonomy and compliance across platforms.
  • Training and Adoption: Provide user support, training, and documentation to enhance adoption and proficiency of the Claravine platform across the enterprise.
  • System Enhancements: Monitor platform updates and oversee testing, rollout, and change management for new features or integrations.
  • Data Dictionary Ownership: Maintain and manage updates to the enterprise marketing data dictionary to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Auditing and Compliance: Audit data sources, including comparing data in Claravine to other systems, ensuring adherence to governance standards.
  • Bulk Updates Management: Partner with teams to manage bulk updates for taxonomy changes or metadata corrections.
  • Data Insights: Extract insights from Claravine data to inform decision-making and improve marketing outcomes.
  • Data Lifecycle Oversight: Oversee the lifecycle of governed marketing data, ensuring effective management post-creation.

Project Management

  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage key projects related to campaign governance, process optimization, marketing automation, and system integrations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Execution and Communication: Coordinate project execution, ensuring effective communication, timely delivery, and alignment with enterprise priorities.
  • Risk Management: Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues to keep projects on track.
  • Performance Tracking: Measure and report on project outcomes to evaluate success and ensure continuous improvement.

What you need to know

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email, Web, Automation, Mobile, Advertising, Personalization (MCP), Intelligence (MCI), Ampscript).
  • 3+ years of experience in application administration, campaign governance, or a similar role.
  • 2+ years of experience in project management, preferably in technology or enterprise applications.
  • Proficiency with the Claravine platform or similar campaign governance tools.
  • Strong understanding of data standards, taxonomy, metadata, and governance best practices.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Jira, or MS Project).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with enterprise marketing or analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, Tableau, Adobe, etc.) is a plus.
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Collaboration: Adept at working cross-functionally and building strong relationships with diverse teams.
  • Initiative: Proactive, self-motivated, and able to drive initiatives with minimal supervision.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable managing competing priorities and navigating a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership: Strong ability to lead projects and influence stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Attention to Detail: Consistently ensures high-quality deliverables in both technical and project work.

For positions based in Woodland Hills, CA, the base salary range is $90,000-$110,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
