Position Description:
Builds Java and Spring Boot-based middle tier applications, Kafka-based messaging, Oracle-centered database backends, and Angular-based front-end User Interfaces in an Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud computing environment. Builds and deploys applications in a DevOps environment using Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools. Improves system performance utilizing performance tunes and production support tracing using Datadog. Prepares reports and correspondence concerning project specifications, activities, and status. Develops software system tests and validation procedures, programs, and documentation.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience as a Principal Full Stack Engineer (or closely related occupation) performing application development and design using Java, Angular, and Oracle in a financial services domain - portfolio and fund management, securities trading, and financial decision making.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Principal Full Stack Engineer (or closely related occupation) performing application development and design using Java, Angular, and Oracle in a financial services domain - portfolio and fund management, securities trading, and financial decision making.
