The National Security Sector at Leidos is seeking a Journeyman Geolocation Operator - Sierra qualified candidate who is looking for a challenge and interested in working in a team environment. This position is on a future contract. Candidates must be willing to work in the Augusta, GA area.

Primary Responsibilities

The Journeyman Operator shall perform operational support to the government by performing tasks required to search, detect, identify, intercept, and locate signals of interest. The JO-Sierra also performs signals analysis in order to identify collected signals. The Journeyman Operators will mentor less experienced Operators to enhance and reinforce the training program and operational TTPs.

Basic Qualifications

  • Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) with Polygraph security clearance required.

  • BA degree and 8 or more years of prior relevant experience; or a Masters with 6 or more years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

  • Current certification from Joint Overhead ISR Operations in a non-APG geolocation method

  • Prior completion of the Intermediate (451) or Advanced (452) Signals Analysis Course

Preferred Qualifications

  • Formal training and/or demonstrated proficiency as a linguist in a foreign language.

  • Current certification in one or more Aerial Precision Geolocation (APG) modes

Pay Range:

Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
