Summary: As a Data Modeler, you will work with key business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers, and data architects to model current and new data. You will contribute to the development and implementation of data modeling techniques and methodologies, ensuring data quality and integrity. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing data requirements, designing data models, and providing solutions to work-related problems. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into data models. - Design and develop logical and physical data models using data modeling techniques and methodologies. - Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and cleansing processes. - Identify and resolve data-related issues and provide recommendations for improvement. - Participate in data governance activities and ensure compliance with data standards and policies. - Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data modeling and recommend innovative solutions. - Assist in the development and maintenance of data dictionaries and metadata repositories. - Provide guidance and support to junior data professionals in data modeling techniques and methodologies. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies. - Strong understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling concepts. - Experience with data modeling tools such as ERwin, PowerDesigner, or Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler. - Knowledge of database management systems and SQL. - Experience in data analysis and data profiling techniques. - Good To Have Skills: Familiarity with cloud-based data modeling platforms such as AWS Glue or Azure Data Factory. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
