ChampionX is seeking a Sales Associate located in Midland/Odessa.

This role plays a fundamental part in ensuring business growth alignment between the customer and the Business Development Manager (BDM). The main responsibility of the Sale Associate is to be the liaison between customer support, operations, manufacturing, and external representatives to optimize business, while building relationships and collaborating within the Emissions team.

What You Will Do:

  • Supports the Business Development Manager (BDM) in the Permian Region

  • Liaison between our end users, channel partners and outside sales teams while building relationships and collaborating with support and services teams through email, phone communication and quoting to receive perfect purchase orders.

  • Assist the Business Development Manager (BDM) with start-ups of new applications in both existing customers and in new accounts.

  • Identify and resolve customer pain points, escalating as required.

  • Articulate value story, technology, and product positioning to both business and technical users

  • Availability for inter-regional travel 60-80%.

  • Liaison with customer support, operations, manufacturing, and external representatives to optimize business.

  • Support all customer service functions and assist as needed.

  • Develop strong customer relationships to ensure growth of existing accounts.

  • Provide technical dashboard training to clients.

  • Communicate customer feedback for customer experience information and future product development.

  • Manage internal and external resources to ensure sales quotes are accurate and on time.

  • Process purchase order, quotes; enter and book sales orders in Oracle, POS tickets and/or purchase orders.

  • Push tickets to Manager Review in Salesforce.

  • Booking and closing end of day orders in Oracle (or another program).

  • Pull invoices and assist with invoice delivery, and work with Finance team to collect payment and any information needed.

  • Maintain expert level of product and application knowledge regarding atmospheric sciences.

  • Undertake project tasks and other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.

  • Ability to multitask.

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Practical computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn internal business systems).

  • Salesforce (or other CRM) Experience and Oracle.

  • Ability to work without direct supervision.

  • Competitive attitude and strong work ethic with the ability to enthusiastically represent the company.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years of inside sales admin experience, customer relations or marketing.

  • Experience and knowledge of ESG, emissions or atmospheric science.

  • History of working in a field that required autonomy and self-motivation.

  • Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multi-task.

  • Prior experience that required excellent organizational skills.

Physical Demands:

  • Minimal bending, lifting up to 10lbs, reaching, twisting, stretching, pushing, pulling up to 10%.

  • Frequent standing and walking between 33% and 66%.

  • Constant collating/filing, using a keyboard, dialing, sitting, seeing, hearing, writing, and speaking greater than 66%
