What You Will Do:

  • Support and manage the portfolio of data and system initiatives undertaken by Systems and Information to implement the data and systems strategy.
  • Contribute to plans that enable successful implementation of the Data and System Strategy and including data concepts related to the budget, program business cases development and understanding of the environment to ensure that all data is captured, maintained and readily available to facilitate accurate and timely decisions and ensure safety and compliance.
  • Build meaningful relationships among other functional and technical partners for understanding and planning work related to data and systems.
  • Demonstrate consistent analysis and suggestions in capabilities throughout the data functions to ensure effective implementation and change management of strategies, as defined by the Manager
  • Conduct assessments of data and system maturity to deliver on business outcomes and capabilities.
  • Define, oversee, and report on key performance metrics and indicators for data and system performance.
  • Explore opportunities to apply artificial intelligence and machine learning in overcoming data management challenges.
  • Coordinate with team members and partners to devise project plans, timelines, and budgets, while ensuring timely achievement of project goals within financial constraints.
  • Regularly communicate project developments to all involved parties and proactively lead potential risks with strategic planning and contingency measures.
  • Foster collaborative efforts across various functional teams to drive project success and continuously enhance project management practices for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Responsible for the implementation of key pivotal initiatives related to Data and Systems for Asset Integrity, Engineering & Asset Management, and Operations.
  • Assist in the strategic planning, development and implementation or enhancement of data management, data publishing and system initiatives.
  • Work with Manager of Systems and Information to complete the data and systems roadmap for GTM. 
  • Work with all our internal partners (Engineering and Asset Management, Asset Integrity and Operations) and external partners to support the implementation of DSS data and system strategy.
  • Work with TIS to deliver on the pivotal initiatives related to Data and Systems.

Required: 

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, management information systems, or related subject area
  • At least ten (8) years of related business experience, including project management experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, and have experience in technical writing and business process development. 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Advanced presentation and visualization skills.
  • Advanced critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage time, tasks and resources effectively in a deadline-oriented, customer service environment and be able to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Understanding project development and execution.
  • Skilled at conducting market research, gathering insights, and creating cases.
  • Customer-centric approach with a focus on delivering products that meet customer and user needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to identify and implement standard methodologies and continual improvements.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence to understand and analyze structured and unstructured data.
  • Experience in Product management.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools.
  • Understanding of Stage Gate process
  • Technical proficiency with experience/knowledge/education in product development, product design, process improvement.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment requiring extensive work on computers, networking with partners, research of technical issues and development of plans and reports.
  • Travel expectations (approx. 15%) for meetings and training support as needed.
  • Flexibility required to work extended hours when required to manage work priorities and address partner needs.
  • Company paid international relocation is not offered for this role.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Balancing, bending and stooping, climbing, crawling, carrying (up to 25 pounds), grasping, kneeling, lifting (objects up to 25 pounds), pulling hand over hand, pushing, reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, walking, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.
