Position Summary
The Manager, 340B Contract Management, is responsible for 340B Program contract facilitation. The role includes extensive interaction with internal teams including Legal, Sales, Implementations, Account Management, etc. Duties include drafting and negotiating new and existing business contracts, coordinating with various subject matter experts and moderating Legal calls to see contracts through to completion. Oversee projects and plans for various Health System, Hospital, and Clinic contracts simultaneously, while meeting designated deadlines and standards.  The Manager, 340B Contract Management, will collaborate with several different areas to successfully issue agreements, resolve client comments within contracts, and seek successful execution with team as appropriate. The Manager, 340B Contract Management, will drive contract management software enhancements through defining and testing operations efficiencies.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Independently drive contract negotiations for new client opportunities, as well as existing customer growth and expansion. Negotiate client redlines in accordance with standard business practice and 340B program compliance, while mitigating risk for the organization. Ensure accuracy of 340B contract requests in accordance with SOP’s, remediate inefficiencies, and identify recommendations for process and workflow improvements.
  • Drive system enhancement and automation through multi-team collaboration, defining detailed system requirements, and completing extensive user acceptance testing to ensure accurate release.
  • Work with Sales Representatives, Account Managers, Sr. Advisor, 340B Contract Operations, and other internal teams to address inquiries and negotiate contracts.
  • Independently coordinate and drive legal to legal calls between CVS, Wellpartner, and both current and prospective hospital partners. Work closely with 340B legal team to accomplish efficient contract negotiation and turnaround.
  • Identify necessary contract template changes and collaborate with business SME to ensure successful resolution.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and tools for the contracting team to streamline the negotiation process. Set operational objectives and prepare action steps toward achievement of those objectives with management.

For this role you will need Minimum Requirements

5+ years Contract Operations experience

5+ Years Experience in 340B Industry

5+ Years Experience working with Salesforce or other contract lifecycle management software

Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks on a daily basis, including demonstrable experience in workflow management systems and/or service delivery

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and strategically coordinate with multiple business units and various levels of an organization to meet a common goal

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare / hospital environment

  • Healthcare and/or Legal background

  • Strong Microsoft office skills

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$66,330.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
