Job Description:
Trains and coaches ISRs to improve their skills in generating sales opportunities and developing customer relationships: identifying areas for improvement and applying strategies for prospecting, lead management, pipeline management, and portfolio contact.
Review and Pre-call: assists ISRs in preparing pre-calls and presentations to meet standards.
Call Listening: monitors calls to provide feedback, identify training needs, and report to the supervisor.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of UPS products and services as well as competitors: acts as a resource for ISRs, helping them build effective sales strategies.
Operates and audits leads, assigns leads based on specialization and territories, and tracks lead status to meet service commitments: reviewing leads to ensure proper handling, contact logging, and conversion into opportunities within the appropriate timeframe.
Advises ISRs on improving customer retention, using sales tools, and negotiating contracts: working with ISRs to resolve issues and enhance the customer experience.
New Hire Mentoring (Onboarding): documents coaching activities and ensures guideline compliance: sessions on specific topics such as shipping materials, UPS services, rates, export/import, shipping systems, territory analysis, and internal processes.
Special Case Attention: provides support in implementations, follow-ups, escalations, and personalized attention for new business.
Penetration Opportunity Analysis: validates penetration opportunities to ensure viability and effectiveness – pull through.
