Position: Sr. Director Software Quality Assurance

Job Location: NewRez LLC, Coppell, Texas

Job Duties:   

  • Direct the quality assurance program.
  • Analyze, interpret, and communicate qualitative and quantitative findings from tests.
  • Monitor bug resolution efforts and track results and known defects.
  • Design, prioritize, and implement test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
  • Participate in process reviews to inform development of products and resolution of defects.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to establish and implement quality assurance processes and procedures.
  • Be responsible for the collection, calibration, and consolidated distribution of vendor performance across all lines of business, producing actionable information weekly, monthly, and off-
  • cycle as required.
  • Validate that QA standards and metrics are in place with the LOB and Vendor.
  • Investigate, respond, and drive resolution on all quality related issues.
  • Maintain vendor quality assurance compliance across all relationships.
  • Drive process improvement through LOB recommendations on enhancements to process.
  • Implement standardized processes to track, monitor, and report performance.
  • Maintain policies and procedures related to GSS oversight.
  • Prepare QA and other performance related reporting weekly, monthly, and as required.
  • Develop and distribute executive level dashboards and reporting.
  • Supervise Sr. Software QA Automation Engineer, who develops and implements QE test architecture, and Software QA Automation Engineer, who contributes to automation E2E test for mission critical business applications with multiple interfaces.
  • In connection with above duties, utilize experience in Frameworks: Entity Framework 4, Unity; Environments: Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), JavaScript, Windows Service; Languages: PLSQL, Java, Selenium; Database: Oracle; Web Technologies: JavaScript; Development Tools: Toad, Eclipse IDE, OBIEE; Configuration Tools: GitHub, Rally, Jenkins; Third Party Components: Payments Gateways; Testing Frameworks: Microsoft Test project, VSTS, Java, Selenium, Jenkins, SoapUI, JMeter, Load Runner; O/S: Windows 7, Windows 2010; establishing Quality Engineering Practice; test automation framework development using Java and Selenium; CICD pipeline development using Azure DevOps, Qualitia integration and agent setup at server; and performance test and self-server automation of API using JMeter.

Requirements:

DEGREE: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field. In lieu of Master’s degree, employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in above listed fields plus 5 years of progressive work experience in related occupation. 

EXPERIENCE:  2 years experience in job offered or 2 years experience in related occupation using experience in the following: Frameworks: Entity Framework 4, Unity; Environments: Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), JavaScript, Windows Service;

Languages: PLSQL, Java, Selenium; Database: Oracle; Web Technologies: JavaScript; Development Tools: Toad, Eclipse IDE, OBIEE; Configuration Tools: GitHub, Rally, Jenkins; Third Party Components: Payments Gateways; Testing Frameworks: Microsoft Test project, VSTS, Java, Selenium, Jenkins, SoapUI, JMeter, Load Runner; and O/S: Windows 7, Windows 2010.

Also requires one year experience in the mortgage lending industry in the following: establishing Quality Engineering Practice; test automation framework development using Java and Selenium; CICD pipeline development using Azure DevOps, Qualitia integration and agent setup at server; and performance test and self-server automation of API using JMeter.

Experience may be gained concurrently. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
