Drive improved product quality, capacity, and productivity by identifying manufacturing issues, developing advanced manufacturing cost-effective solutions, and overseeing successful implementation into production of new methods, processes, tooling, and equipment.
Work closely and collaboratively with design engineering, other manufacturing sites, as well as central AME teams including to improve manufacturability and process standardization.
Monitor and improve productivity through the use of Lean Six Sigma or related tools, while ensuring all customer commitments are met in a timely, quality and cost-conscious manner
Lead process development and introduction for new products, ensuring readiness of the supply chain and manufacturing systems. Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation including work instructions, control plans, and validation protocols.
Drive AME initiatives across sites while providing business-wide impact and enabling sharing of best practices across the Global Supply Chain
Ensure regulatory compliance through Qualification & Validation. Responsible for ensuring rigor in determining processes requiring validation, development of plans and analysis criteria, execution and final analysis and acceptance
Help execute continuous simplification of QMS methods and their applications by working with cross-functional team including Operations and Quality Assurance.
Bachelor’s Degree within appropriate Engineering/Science discipline or Bachelor’s Degree.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project leadership within a manufacturing, development, technical industry or research environment
Demonstrated execution at meeting project goals while satisfying quality, performance, schedule, and budget CTQ’s
Demonstrated troubleshooting, analytical and planning skills
Demonstrated engineering knowledge, program management, and business planning processes, having experience with the full product lifecycle including supply chain and manufacturing.
Exposure and Use of Lean Methodologies
6-sigma DMAIC & DFSS certified
Experiences in Process Intensive manufacturing
Solid working knowledge of GEHC QMS procedures for GMP
Demonstrated program or project management skills
Demonstrated experience owning production processes / growing capability in yield and quality
