Lead and manage the Materion employed On-Site Shipping employee
Develop, in liaison with Customer, a flexible inventory system capable of responding to manufacturing demand and technological change to avoid stock-outs or component obsolescence (optimize inventory levels).
Assist in determining shielding needs with the engineering team as a result of new equipment installs, system re-configurations, and quality.
Work with ABQ Ops team to assist in prioritizing orders and maintaining high turnover and quick cycle times for all shield cleaning.
Provide and maintain a weekly inventory report of all shielding at Customer’s facility, and in-transit. Notify the Customer’s Buyer when additional spare parts are needed.
Materion on-site coordinator to provide a daily report outlining the shielding shipments from Customer on that day - this can be done by email. The report will be sent to the appropriate Materion and Customer distribution list at the end of each day.
Provide reviews and written reports of the on-site cleaning program, detailing consumption by equipment set, areas of improvement, potential areas of opportunity, and failures.
Zero customer shut downs due to shielding not being cleaned.
Minimum of Associates degree in one of the following Engineering disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Physics, or related field, or Equivalent Work Experience. Requires work experience in shipping and receiving. Experience with inventory control and stocking, and experience with quality inspections.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities –
Requires the ability to operate various office and warehouse equipment to include a computer, printer, copier, calculator, telephone systems. Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. SAP experience desirable.
Must be able to work independently while maintaining open communication with the Materion sales, marketing and operations groups.

Salary range: $65,000 to $78,000. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
Pay Range:
$23.65 - $35.48Actual base salary offered varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
The candidate selected will have to qualify as either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. National, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a Person Admitted into the U.S. as an Asylee or Refugee., a National of a country that is not prohibited from having access to U.S. controlled technology (via a letter of assurance), or a Person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.
