Job Summary
The Imaging Aide I performs clerical and non-technical duties. Assists the technologists and radiology nursing staff with patient related functions. Works in diagnostic radiology modalities (i.e., CT, X-Ray, and Ultrasound) based on operational needs.Pay Range
Minimum $20.53 Midpoint $27.19 Maximum $33.86Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Experience
• Required: Minimum six (6) months experience in hospital setting or healthcare environment.
• Preferred: Six (6) months experience safely escorting and transporting patients Knowledge of medical terminology
Education
• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: Completion of course of study consistent with the requirements for Medical Assistants.
Training
• Required: None
• Preferred: Patient Transport Safety
Specialized Skills
• Required: Able to read; write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position; Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction. Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision.

Licensure
• Required: Basic Life Support certification (BLS)
