Role Name: Full Stack Platform Engineer (CL9 - 5 to 8 Years)

Role Overview
We are looking for a Full Stack Platform Engineer (Level 3) with 5–8 years of experience in building enterprise-grade platform automation and self-service capabilities. The ideal candidate will lead the design of reusable modules, enable developer self-service, and drive the standardization of CI/CD, observability, and governance practices across teams.
You will play a key role in aligning platform patterns with security, compliance, and scalability goals, while mentoring peers and collaborating across architecture, DevOps, and application delivery teams.


Key Responsibilities
Proven ability to build reusable platform modules, enable self-service, and align multiple teams toward standardized DevOps practices.
Cloud & Infrastructure as Code
o Design and build reusable IaC modules for infrastructure provisioning (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep).
o Implement policy-as-code and security guardrails using OPA/Sentinel frameworks.
o Develop observability-as-code solutions for logging, metrics, and tracing across environments.
o Integrate AI-based anomaly detection and insights into monitoring workflows.
Platform Automation & DevOps
o Build and manage standardized CI/CD pipelines with reusable templates and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD, Flux).
o Integrate IaC, security scanning, and container orchestration into unified automation workflows.
o Enable self-service provisioning for developers via service catalogs and APIs.
o Leverage GenAI copilots (GitHub Copilot, Azure AI Studio, AWS Bedrock) to accelerate pipeline creation, infra automation, and troubleshooting.
o Implement AI-driven automation for log analysis, configuration drift detection, auto-remediation, and runbook generation.
Kubernetes & Application Deployment
o Manage advanced Kubernetes workloads (StatefulSets, DaemonSets, CronJobs).
o Implement network policies, secrets management, autoscaling, and HPA/VPA configurations.
o Standardize deployment templates and GitOps patterns across environments.
o Integrate AI-powered insights for capacity planning, cost optimization, and cluster health diagnostics.
Architecture & Database Automation
o Contribute to platform reference architectures covering CI/CD, IaC, security, and DR and AI adoption.
o Automate DB provisioning and lifecycle management via pipelines and templates.
o Integrate DB monitoring and compliance automation (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
o Collaborate with AI/ML teams to enable data pipelines, feature store integration, or model deployment workflows (if required by the org)
Version Control & Collaboration
o Enforce version control best practices, branching strategies, and release management.
o Lead knowledge-sharing sessions including adoption of AI-assisted tooling to improve developer productivity and cross-team alignment on platform adoption.
o Present platform enhancements and AI-driven improvements to stakeholders.
Mentorship & Governance
o Mentor junior engineers and review design/code for modularity and reusability.
o Drive standardization across platform tooling and documentation.
o Promote responsible AI usage, governance, and compliance in platform-level automation.


Required Skills & Competencies
Deep hands-on experience with AWS/Azure cloud platform services and IaC tools.
Proficient in Terraform module design, reusable automation, and CI/CD integration.
Strong experience with Kubernetes (Helm, GitOps, autoscaling, RBAC, troubleshooting).
Advanced knowledge of CI/CD orchestration (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
Understanding of monitoring, observability, and logging frameworks (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
Proven ability to design platform-level automation and enforce guardrails.
Proficient scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
HandsOn experience with cloud AI services (AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, GCP Vertex AI) for platform optimization and automation.
Experience integrating AI-driven tools and copilots into DevOps processes (code generation, troubleshooting, runbook automation)
Strong architectural mindset and cross-functional communication.

Preferred Certifications
Cloud (any two):
o AWS Solutions Architect / Azure Solutions Architect Expert
o DevOps Engineer Expert / AWS DevOps Professional
Kubernetes (any one): CKA or CKAD
Terraform Associate
Resource needs to be AI Ready.
