As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of network infrastructures and resolving any technical glitches that may arise. Your expertise in troubleshooting and problem-solving will be essential in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our applications and cloud support services. Expertise in Routing, Switching & Aruba Wireless
Experience in Network SDWAN
Experience in Aruba Central and Clear Pass (CPPM)
Hand-on experience in installation and configuration of switches of different vendors like Aruba, Cisco, HP, and Access Points, IAP, Wireless controllers.
Familiarity with Network monitoring tools and ability to analyze data to identify potential problems and optimize network performance
Thorough understanding of L2 network protocols like Ethernet, VLANs, STP, RSTP, VTP, MAC addressing, ARP etc
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Understanding of network technologies
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Previous experience in network operation, deployment and implementation.
Proven experience in network administration
Certifications such as CCNA or CCNP
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve application and network infrastructure issues.
- Monitor and analyze system performance to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to network infrastructures and critical business systems.
- Provide timely and effective support to end-users, ensuring minimal disruption to their workflow.
- Document and maintain accurate records of support activities, including issue resolution and troubleshooting steps.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance the efficiency of application support services.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Network Infrastructures.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Wireless Technologies Implementation.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructures and their components.
- Experience in diagnosing and resolving network-related issues.
- Knowledge of network protocols and technologies, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLAN.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and software.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Network Infrastructures.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
