  • Understanding of global sanctions lists (OFAC, HM Treasury, UN) and PEP (Politically Exposed Person) screening.

  • Integration of Firco with payment channels (SWIFT, etc.) and core banking systems.

Technical Configuration & Tuning:

  • Implement and fine-tune fuzzy matching algorithms, watchlist filters, and screening rules to maximize detection efficacy while minimizing false positives.

  •  Manage the integration and normalization of various watchlist feeds (e.g., OFAC, UN, EU) within the Fircosoft environment.

  • Configure and maintain the Fircosoft Command Center and other administrative tools.

Support & Lifecycle Management:

  • Provide Tier 3 technical support for the Fircosoft SAS environment, investigating and resolving complex production issues related to screening alerts, message flow, and system performance.

  • Collaborate with infrastructure and database teams to manage patches, upgrades, and the overall health of the on-premises Fircosoft ecosystem.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for system architecture, integration designs, and operational procedures.

Collaboration & Compliance:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Compliance, Risk, Operations, and IT, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  •  Liaise with vendor partners (LexisNexis Risk Solutions) for advanced support, feature requests, and strategic product alignment.

  • Ensure all development and configuration work adheres to internal IT governance standards and external regulatory requirements (AML/KYC).

The Profile We’re Looking For: 5+ years of hands-on development and configuration experience with Fircosoft products in a SAS (Software as a Service) or on-premise environment.

    • Proven experience in integrating Firco Continuity with payment message formats (SWIFT MT, ISO 20022) and banking applications.

    • Java and/or J2EE for custom development and extensions.

    • SQL and experience with relational databases (Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server).

    • Unix/Linux shell scripting.

    • Web Services (SOAP/REST) and XML/JSON.

    Highly Desirable:

    • Experience working within a large global financial institution.

    • Familiarity with the LexisNexis Risk Solutions ecosystem and its integration points.

    • Knowledge of containerization and modern DevOps practices (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD) is a plus.

    • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is advantageous, even if the primary Fircosoft environment is on-premises.
